I logged in this morning to find a message from one of my friends, the contents of which have me wondering just how long we have left before the country is either wiped out or becomes another incarnation of Nazi Germeny of the late 1930's and early 1940's. :(

This first part is Cory's message to someone else on YouTube:

You can either blindly follow what your leaders TELL you to and be little more than a slave, or check things out for yourself before choosing to believe them.

Which do you value more - freedom, or the government? Being able to do what YOU want, or looking "cool"?
Ultimately, only YOU can decide which path to follow.

The response to it apparently shocked Cory as much as it did me......

I have nothing to learn. I dont blindly follow my leaders, although I will obey any order given to me. Terrorists attacked our country. They killed over 3,000 innocent Americans. They are trying to take away our freedom, not the government, at least not yet. If Obama gets in the white house he will try as hard as he can to see that your and mine 2nd amendment rights are taken away. I have checked things out, and I dont like what I see. Giving terrorists trials and the same rights as our own citizrns is bullshit and not pursuing Bin Laden into Pakistan, letting him slip through our fingers, is just dumb. Your videos are meaningless. A marine threw a puppy off a cliff. Big fucking deal. People kill dogs every day and its not a crime anywhere. A cop beat up a skater. The little punk deserved it. i know skaters, and quite often they badly need an ass kicking.

If you want to view everything that the government does as evil, then go ahead. Stop whining about Iraq. Saddam Insane had WMD's. We gave him 4 months to get rid of them. He used them on the Kurds in northern Iraq during his effforts at genocide. he needed to be taken care of, and we did it quickly and with minimal loss. We won the war. We no longer have combat operations in most of the country. You and all the other protesters will bitch about everything the government does, no matter if you have a basis for arguement or not.

First, by comparison of protests at the latest Republican Convention versus the Democratic convention, The Republican convention had the most violence - most of it commited by the police against primarily peaceful protestors.

ALSO, comparing the last two Republican conventions, violence and round-ups increased dramatically. If you check page 12 of the second playlist in Cory's message, you can see for yourself just how violent the last convention was.

This individual also has the disturbing beiefs that throwing or otherwise harming animals is perfectly acceptable, and that apparently only certain people deserve the most basic of human rights. :(

NOW, onto his claim about Saddam. Yes, at one point Saddam DID have WMD. However, it has been proven that in the case of "Operation Endouring Freedom", Saddam at that time DID NOT have WMD.

This same young man ALSO states that we "let Bin Ladden slip through our fingers". George W Bush himself at first said we would not rest until we had caught Bin Ladden, then later came out and said Bin Ladden did not matter, that he was a "NON ISSUE".

And something that most americans missed. A CNN news report about a Bin Ladden tape. At that time, both Cory and myself were house sitting for someone, and were watching the news.

The story claimed that another tape from Bin Ladden has been released, and that in it he stated he had nothing to do with the attacks on the twin towers, that his religion forbad such actions, and that he both condemned the attacks and prayed that those responsible were caught and punished.

Now here is the strange part. CNN only aired that story once. Thereafter, the removed and replaced it with a story claiming that in the tape he bragged about being behind the attacks.

The original story, the one where he stated he had nothing to do with it, was never aired again.

So to those of you who believe everything those in power tell you, I would suggest you verify the information they give you before deciding that it is the truth.
